12 Food Additives Linked To Illness + Disease
This pains me in a way I can't explain.
As a health coach, general consumer and lover of all foods, I get really ticked off when I find new research that uncovers how food additives are creating illness and disease.
Without getting too political, I happen to side with the group of health care professionals, prevention ambassadors, and everyday consumers who believe companies should be more transparent about food additives, preservatives, and the effects these chemicals have on our bodies.
There are thousands of food additives, preservatives, dyes, etc., that are linked to cancers, asthma, headaches, hormone imbalance, high cholesterol, diabetes, ADHD, and (sadly) many more illnesses.
This pains me so much. Am I the only one who believes it's unethical to add chemicals to our food supply that can potentially harm us? Why is this difficult for some to grasp?
I wish I could do more, reach more people, educate the masses, make this illegal and protect the health and wellbeing of future generations!
Okay, cue the overwhelm...
Until I find a microphone big enough or find a way to pass my own laws, the blow list of the "Top 12 Food Additives to Avoid," published by the wonderful folks at FoodMatters.com, will have to do.
Bravo to the Food Matters team for all their hard work and for making information like this available to all.
